By the way, I work best with self-imposed guidelines. So.
1. Smiths lyrics must fit naturally into the course of conversation. (This often means I will have to direct the conversation back to myself. I generally have no trouble doing that.) I am allowing myself to alter them slightly for purposes of grammatically correct tense or gender.
2. Lyrics must be spoken, not typed or sung. While I do a great Morrissey impression, I will not sing lyrics to another person for humor's sake. This belittles the experiment. Also, it would be really easy to type Smiths lyrics to Craig every time I talked to him online, and I don't like doing things the easy way. If Craig wants to participate in an October Smith lyrics conversation, he's going to have to call me.
3. The goal is to be marvellously melodramatic and unsuspectingly ridiculous. So yeah.
being unsuspectingly rediculous is probably my favorite thing to do in my spare time. =)

Are you allowed to repeat lyrics? I can think of more than a couple of lines with multiple uses, but it's more of a challenge if you can only deploy them once in the month...

Nah, no repeats. I'm trying to make this as much of an experiment and creative exercise as possible, even though it's entirely ludicrous.
Plus, there are way too many good ones to repeat in a month.
